From the Village Green we enter Cross Street, which has the highest percentage (for its size) of interesting buildings
Turning left from Church Street and the village green we enter Cross Street. The first house of significance is Number 17, opposite. However Number 17 below is rated by the conservation people.
Number 16 is built on a bank with its gable ending facing the road, very similar in Style to the Hotel
Perhaps my favourite buildings along cross street are the line of terraced cottages at the south end.
